Fundraising
Los Alamitos Youth Water Polo Club, Inc. is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3)
corporation. The quarterly dues from
our members covers the cost of the pool rental/use expenses,
coaches practice/training salaries, equipment use and basic club operation
.
We count on additional donations to help us fund new
equipment purchases, provide scholarships, establish
a contingency fund for unexpected expenses, provide free clinics,
offset costs of major travel trips, help fund for senior/elite/premier team.
Your tax deductible contribution will assist in these
activities while helping the club maintain its high standards.
LOS AL Waterpolo has identified six areas of focus to make our club better:
Contingency Fund – for unexpected/ emergency expenses.
Major Travel Trips – offsetting the expensive costs for our teams traveling to compete outside of the region, state or country.
Free Open Clinics – be able to offer clinics free of charge bringing our club staff and guest coaches and players in to instruct our members.
Senior/Elite/Masters Competition – continue to provide funding for senior/ elite/ masters or similar teams representing LOS AL in major competition including the possibilities of : pro/semi-pro leagues & tournaments, USWP Premier League, Cal-Cup Mens League, USWP Masters Nationals, Senior/ Open /World Nationals, Womens Speedo Top 40 Open Tournament and other events. Besides costs for competition, funding will also help in selecting teams, coaching, training and uniform.
Scholarships - provide funds to allow players of all economic backgrounds to participate in our club.
It is my sincere hope that we will also have 100% participation in this program from our LOS AL families, and of course all donations are tax deductible.On behalf of the club staff, I want to encourage you to be as generous as you can since all of the funds are being used to support the club that is playing an important role in the development of your children.

If you wish to include/ or not include the level of contribution and exact dollar amount, please communicate that as well. For extreme contribution, there will be the opportunity for extra recognition. ( i.e.: company logo/link on our web site, recognition on team apparel and equipment, club promotional items)- please inquire with the club director.
